This weekend was busy with friends and family and small group and Winston Churchill. My husband and I had two separate study dates–one at Starbucks, the other at home with our own tea–to read and research and write. I must say, it’s quite convenient to both be studying at the same time.
During my research on “Sinews of Peace,” I watched this short video of Winston Churchill speaking to the audience in Fulton, Missouri. If you want a taste of what the real Winston Churchill was like, this is it. At least, I think so since I never met him or heard him speak in real life, but from all accounts and eyewitnesses, I think this is a pretty good introduction.
